This toy so impressed me and my two 5-yr old grandsons that I bought two of them. They are great stand alone units, but really are more fun if bought with one of the larger sets. My grandson has created trains from the sets, along with other sets, and has made up stories about the car crashing, and then puts it back together. I highly recommend this toy, and feel that it is a toy that will be played with for years; even my adult children enjoy playing with Magformers. I keep them in the family room for people to be creative when I have visitors. Very entertaining toy, and durable.

Both of my boys (3 & 5) LOVE magformers....we received a small set as a birthday gift and i quickly realized we needed more. When i found this set with WHEELS i knew we had to order it and it was such a huge hit that we ordered another set shortly after we received the first one (along with the big 60+ piece set). My boys have played with these non-stop for two weeks. They take them to restaurants and in the car and the really great thing about them is that it is hard to lose pieces since they all stick together. I've really been amazed at what the 3 year old can create...so great for their spacial awareness and problem solving. One of my favorite toys EVER!

My son has two sets of magnaformers, and they're currently his favorite toy.
We have Christmas in July (he's a December birthday), and this was a big hit.
You could see the delight in his eyes: wheels! And his magnetic tiles could build anything his imagination desired...and it has wheels! Only thing better might be train, but I see another set at Christmas. More wheels!
