My old clipper head rusted, and I bought the 3 3/4 Ultra Edge clipper blade. I have two dogs, and a donkey. All three need a summer shave. This blade cuts 1/2" from the skin and does not require those silly plastic attachments to control shave height. I recommend this blade. I may use it on wife later this summer......

I have two 80lb half border colie half great pyrenees dogs that had not ever had a grooming. As our summer was to be very hot this year I decided to groom them after consulting my vet. Both pups have very dense undercoat and this blade with the Andis clipper (see other review) dit a great job. The clipper I purchased came with a ceramic blade and you can use the ceramic part of it on this blade, thus giving you the ceramic version of this blade for half the cost.

came well packaged in condition stated and arrived before arrival date. product cuts though mats and long thick hair. very well made but the ends were sharp, ground them off just a little so as not to scratch his skin.
