Do not spend your money on this item. July 28, 2010 Me I read all the reviews before buying this item and I was really disappointed with the reviews and the item. To start off I paid the extra money for rapid shipment and it still took over a week for me to receive the product. The Eotech clone 552 is garbage - I have a BSA that I paid $29.00 and it works much better. I set red dot for max and I barley could see the red dot in the sunlight. The product is probably ok for someone who wants to use it on air gun or something similar but not for a real weapon.
Great Buy!!! July 25, 2010 Rick K Ok first off the shipping was fast and simple. Great customer service. Once I got the item I was impressed by the solid feel of it. Once I popped in the batteries and turned it on I was surprised by the clarity of the reticule. Iv shot many weapons using the real EOtech and this is definetly the closest to the real thing. My only complaint is the windage and elevation knobs are backwards other than that I have no complaints.
Best Buy For Your Money July 11, 2010 Smacko51 I purchased this sight with a little reservation. After receiving the sight I made a comparison to the real Eotech sight. I couldn't believe how much clearer the recticle on the clone model is vs the real thing. The clone is made of metal, has the same markings, buttons, mount etc. The real test was mounting it and taking it to the range to sight in. It took me six rounds from my M4 to sight in ! I have read other reviews here and can't agree with most of the problems others have sighted. The adjustment screws work fine on the one I have and as far as being bright enough, with the brightness adjustment it's no problem in the bright Texas sunlight. The only thing I can say negative is don't buy the flip up lens covers that they make for these units. I'm talking about the unit that fits between the recticle shield and the sight itself, they don't fit no way no how. All in all this is a great sight for the money.

EOtech Clone May 30, 2010 T. Pollard (Texas) For the price it is hard to beat, but don't expect the same quality as an original.
Biggest issue I have with it is the glare off the lenses. Good quality lense treatments eliminate this issue almost entirely, but also cause the price to rise. Eye relief is also somewhat limited.
For use on a plinker or lite range use it would probably work for most people.
