This was the best purchase I made all summer for my toddler. I just wish I'd gotten it at the beginning of the summer! Several of our friends have purchased this after seeing ours, and they love theirs, too. My 16-month-old desperately wanted to get out of my arms in the pool, but obviously couldn't swim and hates sitting in those restrictive float-things. This is absolutely perfect. It is not obtrusive & doesn't ride up around his head like a regular life jacket, but helps him stay above water better than just the arm floaties. This keeps his face out of the water but allows for plenty of movement. He is thrilled because he can float on his own (near me, of course!) and loves the freedom. Even in very shallow pools (1-2 feet of water) he does better with this on because he can stand back up on his own better if he falls down. Besides how practical it is, it's just so darn cute on him!

I got this for my 2 year old son after my wife saw another kid with something like this. It works great. My son can be in the water by himself (of course we don't do that). He feels very comfortable with it and keeps his head above the water nicely so he can kick around and move around. A very nice design

I have a 3 and 2 year old and they both love their new puddle jumpers. My 3 year old is swimming all over the pool. They are coast gaurd approved and have also worked great in the boat. They aren't restricting so they can still play, swim and fish. I told my sister about the puddle jumper too. Her 3 year old daughter used to throw fits when she would have to put on a life jacket. My sister ordered on for her and she LOVES it. Would highly recommend this to anyone!

My son (almost 3 years old) liked it. Looks fun, very comfortable, and does help him to hold on the water.

Bought this type jacket because of the heat of a normal life jacket for children. My grandchildren enjoy it and they have worn it in the pool, so it does keep them afloat. It will not replace a full blown life jacket but this one will at least be used. So if it's used - they are safer!
